Why "Hold your nose and vote"

In a recent interview, Asked if her son can go on to be the G.O.P.'s nominee, Roberta McCain said,
"Yes, I think holding their nose they're going to have to take him."

Was she misquoted? Perhaps she really meant:

"...holding their no's..."
or
"...holding their knows..."

Will I Stay Home?

I read McCain's foreign policy address.

McCain keeps saying things that make me want to stay home on election day.

  • Every time McCain mentions that we need to do something about man causing global warming, the likelihood that I will stay home election day increases.
  • Every time McCain fails to support a bill in congress that helps secure our border (Save Act H.R.4088) , the likelihood that I will stay home election day increases.
  • Every time McCain trots out a Liberal Republican to be his running mate, the likelihood that I will stay home election day increases.
  • Every time McCain adds to doubt about how well we treat the illegitimate combatants at Gitmo or talks about conferring more rights on these illegitimate combatants, the likelihood that I will stay home election day increases.
  • When John McCain talks about ceding our sovereignty to a new league of foreign powers, allies or not, the likelihood that I will stay home election day increases.
  • Every time he criticizes a conservative that uses "Barack Hussein Obama's" middle name or who points out a fact about Obama, the likelihood that I will stay home election day increases.
